La Franco Argentine was founded in 1990, in Vervins in northern France by Gonzalo Cruz. The mission of the founder is to promote Dulce de Leche, one of the greatest specialties of his country of origin, all over the world and for all generations. ‘The recipe is simple: fresh milk, sugar and traditional know-how’ reminds Gonzalo Cruz.
With its successful first years, the Group opened offices and warehouses in Spain in 1995 and, in 2006, inaugurated a 5,200 m2 factory equipped with state-of-the-art equipment in Sains-Richaumont. in the Hauts de France. This new facility allows the Group to develop production in line with its ambitions: to become the pioneer and leader on the market of Dulce de Leche.

Today, La Franco Argentine offers 40 variations of Dulce de Leche, produced in accordance with the traditional recipe by adapting some to the uses of pastry or the ice industry. Its products are made locally, from fresh milk and sugar from the territory, conventional or organic, with simple recipes and banishing the use of palm oil or any controversial substance.

With its forty variations and its brands RAFFOLÉ and CHIMBOTE (dedicated to the Spanish market), La Franco Argentine is recognized as the European leader in the production of Dulce de Leche.
At the same time, the Group has successfully developed a distribution business for Argentinean products. Yerba Maté, Malbec wine and the famous Empanadas are some of the most famous products it imports and sells.

We guarantee the food safety of our products by respecting the control and monitoring procedures and by the HACPP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) plan.
In the interest of quality requirements and voluntarily, we have decided to submit our practices to the highest certifications on the market such as IFS (International Food Standard) and BRC (British Retail Consortium). These certifications are renewed annually.
